Granted I've only been to one University in my life but based on my experience here it was great. There's a wide variety of classes to take. There's a wide variety of Student Activities outside of classes to do. Teachers are friendly and do their job. Advisors and mentors who guide you through your educational Journey to get what degree you desire and recommend classes give straightforward advice, communicate clearly and overall know what's best for you. Classrooms are clean.

Beautiful campus with views of Mt. St. Helen’s and Mt. Hood from a single point of the campus. If you go there, don’t forget to hike in the cougar trail. You will enjoy the pleasant murmuring sound of the creek and green beauty around.

I'm a freshman undergrad just starting out at WSUV. I love the vibes, the campus is pretty, and the professors are great (sometimes they do misunderstand questions; we're all human here), and I love the availability of nature views and trails. I'm a druid (AKA animism, so everything is important and everything has a soul) and love the availability of my lifeblood friend nature. I am floating on scholarships and part-time work, because I can't afford $10,000 a year and my parents are still paying off their own loans from college, and I refuse to take out any loans whatsoever. So far, so good. My main two complaints are nerdy things...but I don't like that the Vancouver campus only offers Spanish for language courses (I'd like to have French & German at least, if not Russian, Italian, etc.) and there is no music class or choir or vocal performing class or club. I'm in the process of attempting to start a club but everyone is busy and I don't know any professors or staff to oversee the club so I'm at a bit of a standstill. Hopefully next semester that can happen. I love the Student Diversity Center, especially being a druid (and self-proclaimed "witch", which literally just means I manipulate the energies around me to help people and make people's lives hopefully happier and less stressful), because the people are very open and accepting and it's a judgment-free zone. The LGBT+ community, the people of color, people of all kinds of religious and social backgrounds, everyone is welcome. It's a great place to relax and de-stress, though for the distractible types (like me) not a great place to study. I finished a (fiction) story in the SDC and would love to spend more time there when my schedule allows. 🙂

I enjoy hiking, and biking here as there is a wide variety of trails and paths available. My favorite thing to do is to bike down to salmon creek from WSU, and go fishing.

If you live in the area, check it out!

It’s smaller than wsu pullman, but it definitely not a small campus. The size is medium compared to other universities. They got all of the teaching materials from WSU pullman. Best school

Campus is beautiful but thats to due with the location more than anything else. The facilities are lacking, stats math tutors are scarce, many professors made it difficult to use disability aids, and advisory appointment are hardly on time.
I really enjoy the challenge of learning and while I got so much out of many of the classes here, it's clear that the university supplies this campus with the bare minimum, banking on the fact that it's a commuter school.
