I went In to the free dental clinic they did xrays and poked around my teeth. Well the next morning my face was double the size. I have a bad tooth and they wouldn't pull it cause my blood pressure was to high which is understandable. But they wouldn't do anything to see if I had a infection or anything. The guy who was there was unprofessional especially with the comments he was making about me taking my meds for blood pressure. He doesn't know my situation maybe h should keep his comments to himself.

The staff is taking great care of me. I have severe problems with my teeth and my Dentist at the University of Utah Dental school is working to repair and replace my teeth that have been severely damaged. I am beyond grateful for the support and professional treatment that I am receiving.

Came for emergency dental visit. Was encouraged by staff to come early because emergency dentistry fills up with patients. So we arrived 45 min early. There are only two chairs in the hallway to sit on to wait. It is first come first serve so the first two people took the 2 chairs. We are on the painted cement floor. Then another man comes in for emergency dental care. He is walking on one crutch. He has a friend with him. He can not sit on the floor. So a friend is standing behind us so they don't lose their spot in line. These people are low income or no income. They would bring other chairs. "We are trying to get more chairs." They lobby is empty with 20 lightweight apolstered chairs they course move to the hallway. It's not an access problem. It's a chair problem with no one to care for their patients regardless of ability to pay. You have to be here to see thos. I am a retired RN of 30 years. 15 of those years at the University of Utah Hospital and GCI. REALLY disgusted at the school of dentistry and the ladies at the front that have no soul or smarts to be proactive for the patients.
